Children, who begin their education in a learning environment that is vibrant, purposeful, challenging and supportive, stand the best chance of developing into confident and successful learners. At Millennium First Steps Nursery we will ensure that through play your child will learn, grow and have fun. Children learn best through play which helps them understand the world and to develop socially and emotionally whilst learning in a fun environment with adults who understand and care about them.

We believe that children deserve the best possible start in life as they develop more rapidly during the first five years of their lives years than at any other time. That's why they are called the foundations years – the building blocks for life!.

The Early Years Foundation Stage which is a quality framework sets the standards for Learning, Development, and Care for children from birth to five. Our play based curriculum covers all the areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the Development Matters document guides staff in observing, assessing and supporting each child’s development and individual needs.

At Millennium First Steps Nursery we are committed to working in partnership with parents in order to provide a caring, safe and stimulating environment which supports each child to reach their full potential during the first stage of their life.
